This website was created to provide a synopsis and character bio's for my full feature animated screenplay Nuts! - A Squirrel's Life.
Nuts! - A Squirrel's Life is a tale about a heroic squirrel named Scoop, who after witnessing two near tragedies, begins to fear the extinction of squirrels.  He is convinced the law dictating the procedure on how they cross the concrete is unsafe and outdated.  Scoop's passion to see a safer law passed drives him to concoct a plan to travel from his home in the Midwest to Washington, DC.  Hopping in a mail truck, Scoop says goodbye to his hilarious, chubby, dog taunting friend Nicky and his girlfriend Jaz.  However, shortly after stowing away he finds he's not alone.  Lolo, an avid studier of humans and their culture has decided to join him in his travels.  Once in Washington, DC, Scoop is met with a few challenges.  The SSS (Squirrel Secret Service) will not allow him to get to the President and he also must learn to overcome his phobia of birds before he can return home.  Join Scoop and Lolo in this fun, action filled adventure in the life of squirrels.
